The first property totals 650 acres in Northeastern Bedford County, making up part of the area known as Rocky Mountain. The property will be offered in three tracts totaling seven parcels.

The final tract, known as the “No Business” tract, comprises 127 acres in a single parcel with merchantable timber estimated to be similar to the Elk Creek tract.
These contiguous properties either front on or have access to Elk Creek Road (SR-665), convenient to Lynchburg, Forest, Bedford, and Boonsboro.

This absolute auction for 650 acres will be held Friday, May 29, 2009 at 12pm, at West Manor Bed and Breakfast, 3594 Elkton Farm Rd, Forest, Va.
The second property comprises a 538 acre tract in Southwestern Rockbridge County, just six miles off I-81 near historic Natural Bridge. The tract will be offered in five parcels with merchantable timber valued at $340,924. The property is just west of Short Hills Mountain with frontage on the South Buffalo River and South Buffalo Road (VA-611).
Bryant said, “This property is well-suited for homes, farming activities, hunting, and timber production with gently-rolling topography and mountain vistas.”
This auction for 538 acres will be held Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 10am, at Natural Bridge Hotel, 15 Appledore Lane.
