Fellows auctioneers, based in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, have seen substantial growth from international markets over the last year. These recent developments have urged Fellows to make various changes to the ways in which they communicate with international customers.
In January this year the growing auctioneers produced a ‘Guide to Buying at Auction’ video which has since been translated into six other languages.
Managing Director, Stephen Whittaker said:
“The translation of our ‘Guide to Buying’ video was a vital extension in order to help improve our international commerce and breakdown barriers to buying at auction and leaving bids on our website.”
The emerging growth of new customers from China and Germany saw Fellows employ multilingual Global Customer Relations Assistant, Stefanie Behrens in November 2011 – to help build and develop relationships with these buyers. Other languages spoken at Fellows include French, Spanish, Italian and Polish.
In addition Fellows have acquired new online bidding platforms in China, Germany and France, allowing customers to bid confidently via national websites.
