Richard Winterton Auctioneers of Lichfield in association with the Lichfield Bower Committee are delighted to report a successful antiques valuation day last Friday, (27th April).
The one-off event held at Lichfield’s historic Guildhall was overseen by Fine Arts Associate Adrian Rathbone who was on hand to give clients valuations on their treasures in return for a small donation going straight to the Bower Fund. Despite the rain, the four hour event was well attended and some unusual and valuable artefacts were discovered – including a rare pre-war toy locomotive and a desirable Scottish watercolour.
Over £60 was raised and Adrian Rathbone and Andrew Lock from the Bower Committee would like to thank all those who attended and for their donations which are much appreciated for this worthwhile cause.
