(2015—Chicago, IL) – Hart Davis Hart Wine Co., the number one wine auction house in the U.S., will hold their first three day auction on December 10, 11, and 12. This exceptional sale of incredible diversity and provenance is expected to be the world’s largest wine auction of 2015, with over 3,400 lots valued at an astonishing $6.8-$10.2 million.

Comprised of exceedingly rare selections from the most heralded and sought-after Burgundian producers, this stellar offering features 66 lots of Coche-Dury (est. $312,050-$463,900), 26 lots of Armand Rousseau (est. $228,350-$339,900), and 37 lots of Domaine Dujac (est. $94,300-$140,650). In addition to the amazing Burgundy selections, this consignment includes a trove of other old world treasures. Champagne enthusiasts will be thrilled by the 25 lots of Dom Pérignon Oenothèque dating back to 1971, while Rhône lovers should not miss the incredible selection of Chave Hermitage. Additional highlights from this massive sale include spectacular wines from celebrated California producers: 70 lots of Screaming Eagle (est. $262,000-$391,700), 53 lots of Ridge Monte Bello dating back to 1968 and direct from the cellar of winemaking luminary Paul Draper (est. $61,870-$92,520), and 83 lots of rare Sine Qua Non (est. $112,220-$166,260). Italian wines are also well represented by the many gems from Bruno Giacosa, Sassicaia, and Giacomo Conterno.
