Two celebrity owned cars helped Classic Car Auctions (CCA) achieve a record sales rate of 75 per cent and record total sales of more than £770,000 in its sale last Saturday, 5th December, at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre in Leamington Spa, UK.
A 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible owned by actor Charles Dance was successfully sold in a packed out auction hall for £33,550 and a 2007 Range Rover Sport, exclusively designed and first owned by David Beckham, was sold for £31,350, more than £8,000 over its lower estimate.
The highest value realised in the sale was a 1971 Jaguar E-Type Series II 2+2 Auto, sold for £46,750.
