HDH’s Second Largest Mobile-Only Auction Featuring the Finest New and Old World Wines
Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. is thrilled to announce its second largest mobile-only auction, An Auction of Finest and Rarest Wines, to be held January 10th, 11th, and 12th. This exceptional sale will feature over 2,700 lots which are estimated to realize $1.4-2.1 million.
HDH’s January auction features a superb selection of wines from California, Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Italy, with vintages spanning 67 years. Highlights include 917 lots of California wine estimated to realize $519,410-778,990, including 3 bottles of 2012 Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon (est. $4,800-7,500); 3 bottles of 2013 Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon (est. $4,500-6,500); and 6 bottles of 2010 Colgin Red Wine, IX Estate (est. $1,900-2,800).
Bidders interested in Red Bordeaux should take note of the 336 lots (est. $196,600-294,370) including 6 bottles of 1999 Château Lafite Rothschild (est. $3,000-4,500); 5 bottles of 1986 Château Mouton Rothschild (est. $2,400-3,500); and 12 bottles of 2010 Château Léoville Las Cases direct from Château (est. $2,000-3,000).
HDH saw great demand for Red and White Burgundy in their December auction. Not to be missed in the January sale are 2 bottles of 1994 La Tâche, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (est. $2,800-4,200); 2 bottles of 1982 Montrachet, Marquis de Laguiche, Joseph Drouhin (est. $1,900-2,800); and 1 bottle of 1972 Musigny, Joseph Faiveley (est. $1,700-2,600).
The January auction also boasts over 150 lots of spirits with an estimated value of $68,610-102,980. Highlights include 3 bottles of NV Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23-Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey (2017 Bottling), Bottled by Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery (est. $5,500-8,500); 1 bottle of NV Hardy Perfection (est. $2,400-3,500); and 1 bottle of NV Rémy Martin Louis XIII Grande Champagne Cognac, 1980s bottling (est. $1,400-2,000).
