“The turn out at the Celebrity Gift Mart was spectacular!” says Ms. Roper, “We collected signatures on all sorts of animal gear, including leashes, halters, and collars.” The full collection is being offered for sale to the general to the general public on Ebay, starting today, in order to benefit animal organizations such as the Humane Society. Nancy Sundeen of PillowGram donated three PillowGram Greetings, one of which was signed by Minneapolis KARE 11 TV celebrities Diana Pierce, Julie Nelson, Pat Evans and Sven Sungaard. Janelle Dixon, president and CEO of the Animal Humane Society of Minnesota signed a 2nd pillow, and Katie K9, 107.1 FM talk show host signed the 3rd.
Ms. Roper hopes to raise $60,000 in support of the Animal Humane Society of Buffalo, Minnesota through what she is calling her “Circle of 6 Auction.” Says Roper, “if everyone tells 6 people who visit the auctions and bid on their favorite item, raising $60,000 for the Animals will be well within our reach.”
