Online Auction to Benefit Animal Charities

Flashpoint president Kevin Carvell announced that he and Project Flashpoint would be teaming up with his friend, actor and fellow animal welfare supporter Jon Provost (Timmy, “Lassie”), for two separate online auctions to raise money for the organizations Canine Companions for Independence and The Humane League of Lancaster County.

Both auctions will offer fans the chance to bid on a personally autographed copy of Provost’s book “Timmy’s in the Well: The Jon Provost Story” and a special phone call from Provost himself.

“These are fantastic once in a lifetime experiences whether you’re a fan of Jon’s, you adore animals, or you just can’t get enough classic television,” says Carvell. “And they make amazing gifts for yourself and others on your list this holiday season.”

“I have proudly served on the NW regional board of CCI for close to 25 years. The amazing work they do training and placing assistance dogs with deserving people worldwide enriches all our lives,” says Provost. “I’m also excited to team up with Kevin and Project Flashpoint to support HLLC and the innovative thinking that goes into their many successful initiatives and fundraising campaigns that help to both educate and raise awareness in their community.”

Both auctions are expected to debut on eBay November 26 with all tax deductible contributions going to their respective charities. Interested bidders can find links to these auctions at: http://projectflashpoint.org.
