• Lot 150: Rare WWII Inland U.S. M1a1 Paratrooper Carbine Together With Sling, Ammo Pouch, Magazines and Can. Serial no. 218117, .30 caliber, 18-inch barrel with standard sights. Barrel marked: Inland Mfg. Co./General Motors/3-43. Parkerized finish. Walnut pistol-grip stock with folding shoulder stock. Sold together with original khaki canvas sling, ammo pouch with two extra magazines and original canvas carrying bag. Also included is a provenance file.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 90-95% finish with scattered light wear to relief edges. Stock with wear and bruises present. Canvas web accoutrements showing field use and fading. An excellent WWII battle tested para carbine. Please see auction listing for more details.
• Lot 153: Historic National Postal Meter M-1 Carbine Associated With Korean War Battle of Chosin Reservoir Be. Serial no. 1479304. .30 calibers. 18-inch barrel by Underwood and dated 3-43/[ordnance bomb]. Rear sight is marked H[in shield]. Sling swivel, sling and oiler. Walnut stock. Right side of stock marked WRA and with cartouche with RIA/EN. Sold without magazine. Sold together with 30-inch long wood crate with hinged top and metal handles. Painted OD. Label inside lid from Purves Manufacturing Company Indianapolis, Indiana 1944. Sold together with large file of Korean War documents, military records and private correspondence from original U.S. Marine owner of this carbine.
Condition: Fine. Stock with scattered dents. One 3-inch crease in right side of stock. Sliver chip at front of hand guard. Crate good with heavy wear.
Notes: Included is an interesting story detailing how the carbine was shipped home to Texas. The original owner was a survivor of the Korean War battle of Chosin Reservoir. He stated that the 3-inch crease in the stock was a ricochet mark and that therefore the carbine had saved his life, which is why he shipped it home.

Two fire trumpets in center with circle in center enameled: EX. Reverse inscribed: 1913. Marked: C&B Co./14k. Hinged pin with safety catch.

Bar action lock engraved with tiger pursuing a stag with foliate scroll details. Stalking safety. Checkered straight grip stock of well-figured dark walnut. Steel pistol-grip trigger guard engraved with dogs chasing a stag and foliate scroll. Steel butt plate with extended top. Top engraved with running stag and foliate scroll details. Vacant silver rectangle at grip. Stock marked: S. II. (Scratched). Shotgun: No visible number. 20 gauge. 28 1/2-inch twist steel barrels marked: Edinburgh in gold. • Lot 1074: Colt Frontier Six-shooter Single Action Army Revolver, With Checkered Ivory Grips, And Colt Factory, Serial no. 169005. .44-40 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with standard single line maker and address marking. Left side of barrel: “Colt Frontier Six-Shooter.” Left side of frame with two-line, three-patent dates and rampant colt within circle.
Condition: Very good to fine. 50-60% blue, wear, scratches, scattered light pitting, drag lines on cylinder. 60% case-hardening on hammer and frame, fading. 20% finish on grip straps. Worn after-market ivory grips of period, cracking and chipping, primarily on butt.
Notes: Colt factory letter indicates .44-40 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel, blue finish, hard rubber grips, shipped to San Francisco Agency, California, February 2, 1897, number of same type guns in shipment: 10.
• Lot 2170: Spencer Model 1865 Repeating Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. 8878. .52 caliber, 20 inch blued barrel with standard sights. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer, frame and lever. Stabler cut-off. Standard walnut stocks.
Condition: Good. Gray patina, pitting, wear, nicks. Stock with nicks and mars, cleaned, split and repaired left side. Missing barrel band.
