Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers , the world’s largest industrial auctioneer, will be holding a large, multi-million dollar, unreserved public auction at its permanent site in Denver, Colorado on Thursday, June 4, 2009 and Friday, June 5, 2009, starting at 8:00 a.m. each day. More than 1,600 items will be sold to the highest bidders at the auction regardless of price, with no minimum bids or reserve prices. Some of the equipment highlights of the auction include a large selection of late model Caterpillar construction equipment, transportation equipment and various types of cranes.
“The auction will have a large selection of equipment,” said Steve Merich, Regional Manager, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. “We’re selling a good line-up of late model Caterpillar construction equipment and have an abundant selection of crawler tractors, motor graders, wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, motor graders, backhoe loaders and compaction equipment for prospective buyers to bid on. In addition, we’ve just added a number of cranes to the sale including a 210-ton all-terrain crane, a 90-ton hydraulic truck crane and four 50-ton rough terrain cranes.”
The auction will feature a complete dispersal of trucks and construction equipment for Renaud Inc., as well as equipment and other assets from more than 150 other equipment owners including Wagner Equipment Co., Felix Chavez & Son Construction and Hyland Enterprises – who own the majority of the late model Caterpillar equipment being sold in the auction. Highlights of the auction to-date include more than 55 hydraulic excavators, 45 wheel loaders, 45 backhoe loaders and 35 motor graders. All of the construction equipment and cranes will be sold on Day 1 (June 4) of the auction. Transportation items, including more than 30 truck tractors, 30 utility trucks, 25 dump trucks and other types of trucks and trailers, will be sold on Day 2 (June 5). New items are being added to the auction daily.
