RockandDirt.com Publishes Heavy Construction Industry Auction Results

Rock & Dirt, the preeminent “buy/sell” resource for the heavy construction industry, has announced that auction results are now available on its website at RockandDirt.com.
“RockandDirt.com is a primary tool for equipment buyers everywhere,” said Travis Clark, Sales Manager. “Now, the site features current, accurate information for equipment auctions, including listings, calendars and sale results.”
Clark said the site’s new auction section is detailed and comprehensive.
“RockandDirt.com now has the most complete online auction results that include information from IronPlanet,” commented Clark. “Contractors can search listings for used backhoes, used bulldozers, used wheel loaders, used excavators, used dump trucks, used bucket trucks, used lowboy trailers and other categories.”
Clark added that Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, Case, Volvo, Mack, International and Trail King are all represented in the site’s auction listings.
Clark said another important part of the auction section is a calendar of upcoming sales that can be viewed by month, date and region. Each auction links to contact information and other details.
“Calendars are updated daily for Ritchie Brothers, IronPlanet, Alex Lyon, Cat Auction Services and other heavy equipment and work truck auctioneers,” he added. “Contractors can click the auctions and events icon to view the next auction near them, or the next online auction.”
Clark stated that auction results on RockandDirt.com make it the industry’s premier source for current market values of used equipment and trucks.
“Users can filter results by model, company, price range, auction date range and state,” he continued. “In addition to the auction average, the results show the current average for listed machines, trucks and trailers for sale on RockandDirt.com.”
Since 1950, Rock & Dirt is published three times monthly and mailed to contractors in every state of the U.S. and more than 130 other countries. Each print issue focuses on a specific U.S. region: Eastern, Central and Western. The print edition contains a section for Parts & Attachments, as well as Equipment, Trucks & Trailers, Cranes and Auctions/Events.
RockandDirt.com mirrors the print edition and is similarly organized. In addition to category icons, buyers can use a number of search techniques, including keyword, manufacturer, year and state. Continuously updated, the site also features auction results and free want-to-buy listings.
