This game consistently ranks at the top of any list of the all-time greatest moments in baseball, Red Sox, or World Series history, and this ball is responsible for cementing its place!
The Fisk home run ball is accompanied by impeccable provenance, including a notarized letter directly from Cincinnati Reds left fielder George Foster, who caught the ball after it bounced off the left field foul pole, and video documentation showing the catch being made. This is an incredible surviving relic from what is perhaps one of the greatest moments in baseball history!
