Hart Davis Hart Announces Auction Featuring Exciting Burgundy Cellars

Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. is excited to announce their February Auction of Finest & Rarest Wines taking place on Friday, February 26 & Saturday, February 27. Absentee bidding will open at 9:00am ET for this exceptional two-day auction on Thursday, February 4. Bidders can utilize HDH’s industry-leading bidding platform, available via their mobile app or online, to place absentee and live bids.

Headlining the February auction is The Very Best of Burgundy from a Preeminent American Collector (lots 1133-1604). Paul Hart has known the owner of this group for decades and can attest to the greatness of the collection. Impeccable Burgundies are offered from the most respected domaines including DRC, Leroy, Dujac, Mugnier, Roumier, Rousseau, and Dugat. The wines have been sourced from select merchants and auctions with extreme care and attention to provenance, conditions, and shipping.

“This is one of the most exciting groups of Burgundy we have ever represented at HDH. It is every collector’s dream. I’ve visited the cellar many times, shared bottles with the collector, helped curate many selections, and can assure bidders it is one they will not want to miss. It is dense and packed full with showstopper bottles and should be given serious time by dedicated collectors,” commented Paul Hart, CEO & Chairman of Hart Davis Hart.

A small portion of a larger collection is A Professor’s Curated Collection (lots 74-252). Bidders should carefully look over this selection which includes a full case of 1999 Echézeaux, Henri Jayer for Georges Jayer alongside many other highly sought Burgundy offerings.

Absentee bidding for Hart Davis Hart’s February 26 & 27 Auction of Finest & Rarest Wines will open on Thursday, February 4 at 9:00am ET. Bidders should download HDH’s mobile app or visit auction.hdhwine.com to register and place bids.
