Bidding Now Open on Hart Davis Hart’s Spectacular November Auction

Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. is excited to announce its impressive November Auction of Finest & Rarest Wines to be held on Thursday, November 4th and Friday, November 5th beginning at 9:00am ET both days. Online bidding opens this morning and features 2,400+ lots comprised of the greatest wines of the world. Bidders can utilize HDH’s industry-leading bidding platform, available via their mobile app or online, to place live and absentee bids.

Hart Davis Hart has been honored to work with the most significant and well curated collections in recent history. Selections From the Cellar of Mr. Po Chung (lots 296-461) is no exception. A stunning, 166 lot offering valued at $697,180-$1 million, this cellar is one of incredible depth and quality. Nearly 130 lots of full-case classified-Bordeaux and Vega Sicilia in OWC are on offer. Mr. Chung is a collector with a striking focus on quality and impeccable provenance. Purchased almost entirely from Berry Bros. & Rudd in the UK, many of the cases arrived for inspection at HDH with their BBR straps still intact.

The Pinnacle Collection (lots 1442-1809), aptly named for it’s picturesque location, perfect provenance and storage, is one that HDH has had the privilege of getting to know intimately through the years — a veritable library of the best that Bordeaux and Burgundy has to offer, especially rare large-formats of First Growth Bordeaux, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Comte Liger-Belair. Following the aforementioned standard-bearers, bidders can delight in the selection of new and old world favorites, featuring Guigal, Rayas, Masseto, Harlan Estate, and Penfolds Grange. In this collection, there is truly a gem for every bidder prepared to compete.

It is not often that we encounter a cellar with not only incredible provenance and storage conditions, but one that also features a deep dive into one or two top quality producers. An East Coast Restaurateur’s Carefully Curated Cellar (lots 1812-1898) is estimated at $610,200-$906,450 and comprised of just 87 lots, almost all of which feature the wines of Domaine Dujac and Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. A gorgeous collection, carefully acquired on release, and kept in ideal temperature- and humidity-controlled conditions, we could not be more thrilled to represent these lots in our November sale.

Highlights from these collections and others are below, and bidders are encouraged to take a look through the auction for gems of their own finding. Place your bids quickly, and be ready to compete in this exceptional auction taking place November 4th and 5th at 9:00am ET both days. HDH invites connoisseurs, collectors, and investors to join them online via their mobile app or auction website to bid on these phenomenal wines.
