The Dog Bone Boutique auctions will open 07/01/2009. The auctions will consist of only pet and livestock related products.
Final bidding prices on items that retail for over $100.00 will never exceed 50% of the MSRP. This will give bidders the opportunity to get expensive items, such as riding saddles, dog kennels, and cat trees at a minimum of 50% off.
Bidding will begin at .05 and climb in increments of .05. Each items final price will be randomly capped at between 35% and 50% of the MSRP. In order to keep things fair, users will only be able to make up to 10 purchase per month.
The auctions set to begin 07/01/2009 will include flea and tick products, large and small dog kennels, as well as cat furniture.
The Dog Bone Boutique will not participate in the auctioning of live animals. According to the creators , ” In order to morally and safely allow live animals to be auctioned we would need to conduct background and veterinary reference checks on all buyers and sellers. That currently is not a good fit for us, but may be a future endeavor.”
