Tractors, forage harvesters, combines, balers and dozens of other pieces of agricultural equipment are being sold in the Texas Panhandle’s biggest online auction of agricultural equipment ever.
Ray Lee Equipment, a John Deere dealer based in Dimmitt, Texas, is selling approximately 91 pieces of equipment in an Internet-only auction through Purple Wave Auction, the nation’s leading Internet auctioneer of agricultural and construction equipment. Bidding is already under way at www.purplewave.com and will start to close at 10 a.m. CDT on Wednesday, July 28.
“Ray Lee has long established a reputation as an innovative and aggressive marketer of John Deere agricultural equipment, and our proven model of selling equipment in Internet-only auctions, with assets available locally for inspection, naturally appealed to their approach,” said Brad Fry, Purple Wave’s auction manager for Texas, Oklahoma and eastern New Mexico.
“All items will sell on June 28 to the highest bidder, regardless of the price,” said Aaron McKee, founder of Purple Wave. “The combines, tractors, harvesters and other equipment are available for inspection at the six Ray Lee locations,” he added.
Ray Lee Equipment has locations in Dimmitt, Plainview, Floydada, Muleshoe, and Olton, Texas, and Clovis, N.M. Detailed item descriptions, photos and seller contact information is available at www.purplewave.com.
