Sotheby’s Hong Kong two-day Spring Wine Sale Series totals $8.2 million

Sotheby’s Hong Kong two-day Spring wine sale series concluded with a combined total of HK$63.6 million / US$8.2 million. The two sales – The Classic Cellar From A Great American Collector IX and Finest & Rarest Wines, Including The Bordeaux Winebank Collection and Wines Direct From Château Angélus, Louis Roederer and Colgin Cellars were both 100% sold.

Serena Sutcliffe, M.W., International Head of Sotheby’s Wine, commented on the sale today: “This was an exciting weekend of wine sales for Sotheby’s in Hong Kong, bringing to Asia superb direct-from-thecellar collections which wine lovers lapped up with great enthusiasm. Mature, classic Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne were a huge success, with California’s Colgin Cellars flying to new heights.”
