Slices of Royal Wedding cake from the weddings of Kate Middleton & Prince William, Prince Charles & Princess Diana, Prince Andrew & Sarah Ferguson and Princess Anne & Captain Mark Philips will sell at PFC Auctions on September 27 2012.
The cakes will be sold in 3 lots:
One slice of cake from the wedding of Will & Kate
One slice of cake from the wedding of Charles & Diana and one slice from the wedding of Andrew & Sarah
One slice of cake from the wedding of Charles & Diana, one from the wedding of Anne & Mark and one from the wedding of Andrew & Sarah.
All of the slices of cake come in their original presentation boxes.
The first slice of Kate & Will’s wedding cake to appear on the market sold for £1,917 at PFC Auctions in May 2012 while a slice of Charles & Diana’s cake sold for a record £1,756.
PFC Auctions spokesperson Kylie Whitehead said: “These cakes are very personal and unusual pieces of Royal memorabilia that offer collectors a rare opportunity to own piece of Royal Wedding history.”
Online bidding at www.pfcauctions.com is now open and will end at 7:00pm BST on Thursday September 27 2012.
